Big Purple Dot is a leader in the mortgage and real estate industries with their CRM that expands into a full technology suite. Part of the difficulty and frustration with purchasing a home has to do with the extensive loan process that typically uses dated technology that isn't user-friendly and, at times, gets in the way more than it helps. I designed a consumer-facing 1003 loan application, that could be white-labeled for any mortgage company, that puts the user first with accurate completion in as little time as possible. Using my experience as Head of UX at loanDepot, the second largest US non-bank lender, I was able to design a platform that rivals their $80M platform I started while there but designed and developed for Big Purple Dot much more efficiently at a small fraction of the time and price.

The loan application is fully responsive, shifting to provide a great experience for the user on any device, including mobile.







Borrowers can be paired together to share assets and other information so it doesn't need to be entered multiple times. Financial integrations automatically fill in the application by connecting to your bank accounts, saving lots of time and providing accuracy.
