Supply Chain and Commerce Platform

Requis is an online supply chain and commerce platform that helps users both buy and sell inventory ranging from office equipment to multi-million-dollar machinery.  I designed a platform that solved the problems of a buyer searching easily for trusted equipment to acquire as well as a company managing their entire inventory of equipment lifecycle, from new to used.

Key Responsibilities and Workflow

In leading the User Experience for these projects, I worked through a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from industry and user research, journey mapping, low-fidelity wireframing, interaction design, visual design of high-fidelity wireframes, prototyping, usability testing, and working with the engineering team to ensure the design was handed off and implemented correctly.

Design Impact

The impact of the system I designed allowed users to not only purchase products for their company with trusted documentation and knowledge about the equipment but also to manage the entire inventory of their company's equipment on one platform.  A company would have tracking of deterioration and quality of their used inventory, stored documentation, and an easy way to sell both new and used equipment, sometimes costing into the millions of dollars.  The platform provided an easy way for enterprises to procure, manage, and dispose of assets with more visibility, simplicity, and capital efficiency.
